Escoffier Media Inspired by one of the greatest Chefs in culinary history Chefolio was developed to assist future chefs and cooks in promoting their art and realizing their career goals. We thought it only appropriate to name our company after one of the most innovative chefs who ever lived. Escoffier lived his life improving, organizing,teaching and promoting the professional chef. If Auguste Escoffier was alive today he would no doubt be a driving force in the culinary industry and culinary education. Above all else Escoffier was a leader, teacher, mentor, and an innovator. He took Chaos and disorder and made order, standards, systems, and control. One of his most famous contributions was the "Kitchen Brigade" system that organizes our kitchens today. In his honor we are named to show respect for him and those that came before us that have made so many enhancements and contributions to the image of the professional chef and cook. Escoffier was a Chef who never settled for mediocrity. He lived his life continuously trying to make his dishes, fellow chefs, and the culinary industry better for the future. His life promoted growth, creativity, and passion in the chefs he mentored and helped inspired.
